APA President Formed a higher committee to determine deficiencies of the train’s accidents

Concurrently with the Administrative Prosecution Authority’s investigations into case No. 206/2017 conducted by the Headquarter Technical Bureau in regards of the collision of two trains in the district of Khurshid, located in the Governorate of Alexandria that took place on Friday 11/08/2017, and based on the official letter of the Transport Minister to APA; Counselor Rashida Fatth Allah head of APA has issued the following orders:
 
First: Formation of a committee composed of Headquarter technical bureau’s high-ranked Counselors to examine reports issued by APA in the cases related to trains accidents, including deficiencies in the administrative, financial and technical systems and procedures that would have led to the occurrence of such incidents, where The committee shall discuss the experts and specialists nominated by Mr. Eng. Minister of Transport in the preliminary results of the study and develop proposals for the necessary treatments in all aspects with the preparation of a comprehensive final report to be presented to APA President within a period not exceeding seven days from the date of issuing the decision. To be sent to the President of the Republic pursuant to Article 44 of the Administrative Prosecution Authority Law and Disciplinary trials.
Second: Temporarily suspension of (9) accused of their work in the interest of investigations for three months with the payment of half of their salaries, each of: -
