Counselor Aly Rizk/ President of Administrative Prosecution Authority issued decision no.202/2017 to suspend Mit Ghamr City Cemetery Supervisor from work for three months starting from 2017/5/6 or until the completion of the investigations with disbursing half of his monthly salary and submitting the case to the competent disciplinary court to issue its decision regarding the disbursement of the other half of his salary.
Where investigations conducted at Mit Ghamr Prosecution by Basma El Shafey/ Senior Administrative Prosecutor under the supervision of Counselor Hamed Shabaan/ Head of the mentioned prosecution in case no.221/2017 revealed the involvement of the mentioned accused official in the following violations:
1- Manipulated the old cemetery inventory records by removing the name of his uncle in order to enable him from entering the 2012 lot to obtain land plot no.31 allocated for cemeteries in violation to the law.
2- Enabled a citizen from obtaining two land plots where he built two private tombs without following the laws and regulations set in this concern and without the assignment of the plot owners registered in the records.
3- Enabled a citizen to intrude on an empty piece on land no. 964 where he built a tomb on it despite that this land was not listed in 2012 lot.
4- Enabled some of the citizens whose names were enlisted in the 2012 plot from building tombs without obtaining licenses from the competent administrative body.
The Prosecution issued the suspension decision as a precautionary procedure in order to prevent harming the interest of the investigation whether by influencing witnesses and informants or impacting the physical evidences and clues especially that investigations require the examining of records and documents at his work place, whereas he was charged by major accusations which prevent him from resuming his work duties until the prosecution issues its decision regarding the accusations charged against him.
